Black or Red?

Hello everyone! I am some what in a dilemma and I feel like i need some help/advise from people who are already enjoying their revomaze. I plan on purchasing 2 of the Revomaze Extremes at the end of next week. I am buying the blue Extreme, but I don't know if I want the black Extreme or the red Extreme. Both are challenging, the red being more difficult, but which will give me the most enjoyment?

I must say that the blue and green are the ones that I enjoyed most. The black was too hard in terms of ATOMIC PRECISION I needed to open it.
At the opposite, I gave up trying the red after weeks of attempts simply because it seems to go nowhere, whatever I try. Of course it's a matter of taste! So, it should depend on what most you want from your puzzles!
Black and Red are a totally different kind of beasts.

Beware of the red! It is a totally different animal, proving more difficult than bronze at this moment, maybe it is as hard as silver? Nobody has opened both silver and red yet.

If you like to make it extremely hard for yourself, buy red. Otherwise buy black. In the end, you are going to buy all of them anyway.

I would go with the black. It will be a challenge but is doable and has an added bonus feature. (It is the same as the Black Limited Edition.) While no one has opened the red it will not take you long with it to be frustrated. Therefore better value money for puzzle time. I also concur that it will only be a matter of time before you buy them all. Enjoy.

Thanks you everyone for the help. I think I'm going to go ahead and purchase the blue and black. I'd like to say that these two would be my only purchases, but if I enjoy these puzzles half as much as everyone on this forum I'll end up buying them all

Good call. Based on your question I would have said Black, but ignoring your actual question, i would have suggested blue. picking both is quite a smart idea. the first will give you the skills, the second will give you the dextarity. good luck on both. keep us updated on how you are doing.

After contemplating for a couple of days, I have decided against purchasing only the blue and black extremes and have went ahead and bought the whole set. This is the largest order puzzles I've made and the first time I am straying away from twisty puzzles. I'm very excited to solve my first Revomaze!

You'll be glad you did. They are like puzzle crack and with all four you'll be set for awhile. Hours and hours of fun and even after you open it the first time it will still a challenge to open them again. I'm waiting on my silver fix while trippin on the red extreme.

these past few weeks have been very busy and time filled. I am still in the application process of pharmacy school and trying to get a summer job here at my university.
I should have more free time after easter
