And the T9 from the same seller is also already at 2.700,-- USD. With 6 days to go.

This is getting ridiculous

Most people will never have the chance to get a Popplock if they aren't lucky enough to get one from Rainer directly.

Well, the problem of auctions is that the idiocracy of people is tested.

Has anyone in the US received one yet? I am waiting on the US allotment to happen soon.. And the T9 @ $2700 has not met the reserve price yet. That is insane...

Well, the problem of auctions is that the idiocracy of people is tested.

It’s also speculation, people assuming the price they pay will remain or increase so almost any price is “reasonable” and that’s not sustainable. At some point, as crazy as this sounds, few people will care about Popplocks because whatever is new out there will be the thing to have and those that paid crazy prices will have a hard time getting a fraction of their cost back. Maybe I’ll still be alive then and have a chance to try one of Rainer’s designs that way

You can also simply sell the maze for a very small prize to make someone with less money happy, it will even make you feel better, but for some reason alot of people always need to get big returns financially. It has nothing to do with a puzzle being worth something, it is simply greed.
It is a small step though, to stop being greedy.
You are not a lesser human when you sell something below the price you bought it for. The fact that it brings misery is your ego.
Lose your ego, lose your greed and start using love and empathy.

I agree wholeheartedly with both of you. In the name of compassion and empathy, I hope you’d both sell me your entire collections for the hefty sum of $20 USD.

Still no word in the US from Rainer, but no usual follow-up email saying “check the resellers” either.

Besides UK most likely the US is the most complex export to a foreign country I guess.
I would also first ship the country of origin, then europe and later rotw.

So I hope that you will get an email.
My T13 is still in a very early stage of being opened.
Plenty of other stuff on my todo list at the moment.

I just received this email from Rainer..

Dear lock and puzzle friend,
As already communicated: I received your email and I know that you are interested in the T13!
Unfortunately, the further sale of T13 has to be postponed until next year.
This has reasons that I cannot influence.
I will continue to work hard to ensure that everyone gets a lock and please keep your patience!
