 no not my avatar, that would be way too easy. It's my name ;) I think I've only used this avatar on one other forum www.runespuzzle.com. If you like a challenge check it out. But I warn you, you'll probably get sucked in :)

Yep, pull out your cards and look at #45 - SnakeEyes as an example 8-) I kinda miss that ARG, it was a nice distraction even without the cards.

Perplexcity is no longer running. You can sometimes still find cards on ebay. You can view them on http://perplexcitycardcatalog.com

The Runespuzzle main site is actually http://www.runespuzzle.co.uk/
It's based out of the UK so it's in English. From there you can view the sample puzzles and see if it's something that you can do with the language barrier. It's a good mix of puzzle types to challenge you.

I'm looking to find a good reliable store/website in the States for puzzles. Lots of variety and reasonable prices would be best. Any suggestions?

have you tried
http://stores.brilliantpuzzles.com
I haven't ordered from them but they seem pretty good I like the, puzzle box selection. I think I am going to order a few of the cheaper ones or what I call "quickies" and a 4 Sun 21 Steps - Japanese Puzzle Box.
