Re: Entire list of revomazes
Well, first we should list the maze designs, not including prototypes, special editions and revisions.
Blue, Green, Bronze, Silver, Gold
First Black, Red, Handmade, Second Black, Orange, Lime
Titanium, Purple
There may be more in the future. A Copper and a Marbles exclusive design have been mentioned. I'm not sure if they are similar or not.
For the metal versions there have been two sleeve designs, the original which have the grooves and the newer version which is smoother, but never really became as popular as far as I can tell. If the Marbles revomazes are the most recently manufactured revomazes, it looks like the original sleeve design is being continued.
The cores of the revomazes with the smoother sleeves have been solid cores without the removable center core or drawbar.
Apparently the marbles revomazes have certificates and removable center drawbars too. No serial numbers though.
The obsessions have only static designs which include the Blue, Green, First Black, Red, Second Black.
The blue has at least three versions. The V1 with the non-removable core, The V2 with the removable core and the Pro which is modified to require multiple runs through the puzzle in order to open it.
The Green, Red, and First Black Obsessions only came in the V1 non-removable configuration.
The Second Black was available only in the V2 removable configuration. This is also the only maze design that was available ONLY as an obsession. There's never been a metal version.
There's been two sleeve designs which are similar to the metal sleeves. In the early days there were blue and red sleeves too.
The colored stickers on the ends of the cores have been the source of confusion.
All the Blue obsesions have blue labels except for the Pro which has a red label.
The Green Obsessions only have green labels.
The Red Obsessions only have red labels.
The first Black Obsessions only have black labels
The second Black Obsessions have had both black and green labels. The early ones had black, the later ones had green.
Basically they ran out of black labels and since the green obsession had been discontinued, they used surplus green labels instead of ordering more black labels. When the Pro was released the red obsession had been discontinued for quite a while. It was convienient to use the surplus red labels in order to make some use of them.

Re: Entire list of revomazes
Great info, pcad! You sum things up way nicer than the FAQ, even. Now rank by difficulty and static/nonstatic. :]
I've never quite figured out what anyone means by "drawbar" on this forum. But the marbles blue does have a removable component in the center of the core. It holds a certificate inside the core. The certificates aren't numbered, but they do have a little reflective sticker and Chris's signature (which looks legit, not printed).

Re: Entire list of revomazes
There's always some confusion with terminology. The core that has the maze milled into its surface is a two part affair. The core is hollow and a steel bar fits in this hollow space. It's thinner in the middle so a certificate or other paper like item can be hidden between the core and the steel rod. Where the term drawbar came from, I don't know.
Static mazes are the Blue, Green, first and second Black, Red,and Titanium.
Dynamic mazes include the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Handmade, Blue Pro Obsession (only obsession with a dynamic aspect), Orange, Lime and the Purple.
Difficulty is tough. The Blue is certainly the easiest. In my opinion the hardest ones are the HandMade and the Lime followed closely by the Silver. The Bronze, Orange and supposedly the Purple are in the inbetween range.
Guess what, they're all way too difficult for anyone other than a rabid puzzler foaming at the mouth.

I'd recognize that squirrel as a Revomave addict even without the subtitle.
Sadly your squirrel has been the highlight of my day so far, thanks !

Re: Entire list of revomazes
pcad, are you saying there are two versions of the black extreme?
Also, are you saying the handmade and lime are harder than the silver? i have yet to touch the gold, lime, handmade, titanium, or purple... but they look great on the shelf!
