Condolences to the holder of ticket #43.

In the end no one is really going to 'lose'.. so condolences aren't really required. 43 has just as much a chance to come up next time as any other number.
If the conditions of the raffle had been changed say.. AFTER tonight's draw time then I could understand the issues since in that case someone's valid win would have been stolen from them.. but there was a number of days notice. Yes I understand the sensitivity to changing rules after having announced them however in the grand scheme of things this is hardly a change that will bring about any real hardship.

Re: Revomaze R2 Prototype (As seen in Wired)
I unfortunately don't remember the order in which numbers were taken. If 43 was picked after the change, I can probably take my condolences. If it was picked before... yeah, doesn't really change my feelings on the matter.
Either way, I'm sure most people are sick of my opinion. I haven't been made aware of any points that would change it. It might be fair to some, it's a shame to me.
Good luck to everyone on Saturday!

Re: Revomaze R2 Prototype (As seen in Wired)
Sorry for your loss buddy. I can imagine how you feel. Its true though, you have just as much chance of winning on Saturday still as the rest of us. If things work out fair, your number will come again. I on the other hand.... hope number '25' rains down heavily upon us

Re: Revomaze R2 Prototype (As seen in Wired)
Number 43 was purchased after we changed it to Saturday so no problem. We look forward to the draw this weekend
Re: Revomaze R2 Prototype (As seen in Wired)
Just signed up for number 49. Can't lose really - I'm one of those who hasn't paid for Mercury yet, so either I end up with the prototype, or my Mercury is now paid for.
Re: Revomaze R2 Prototype (As seen in Wired)
so I wonder if all 49 numbers are now spoken for

"My mind rebels at stagnation. Give me problems, give me work, give me the most abstruse cryptogram, or the most intricate analysis, and I am in my own proper atmosphere." (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle)
Re: Revomaze R2 Prototype (As seen in Wired)
2 left for sale.
Re: Revomaze R2 Prototype (As seen in Wired)
Hopefully there was more than 1 person who had asked to have it postponed and that they buy the last 2 remaining chances before the next drawing.
Needs to be updated!
