So good on them for catching something in a new product.

Though I wouldn't mind having the shorter draw bar sent as well just for history and tracking sake :P I'm sure they wouldn't want it at HQ.
I wouldn't mind having my puzzle delivered when it was supposed to or a tracking number when the puzzle was ready to ship. Seems nothing has changed over there.
The drawbar issue is a whole other concern. How did they get as far as assembly and realize it was too short?

As you can see there was only one drawbar installed in the pic of the 20 mazes, this seems to be the last missing part.
Working under pressure to keep the promised dateline not only ended up in chris drilling his finger but also in no more time to test everything before assembling.

I believe its better not to push things.

But they were ready to ship and then they discovered an issue. These kinds of thing are to be expected when you are part of the first 20 test batch. It is better that it was found before the packages were sent instead of afterwards.

It's a rather small issue since it's only the draw bar witch is a cylinder with a machines flat side and a pin hole i guess
It should not take too long to fix
Im glad it's not an issue with the maze itself

Lets be honest im sure we Will enjoy a great new desing soon !

Hi All,

Just to keep you updated: Chris has worked all weekend on the replacement drawbars and they are now all complete - he next needs to reassemble each one and test each individually before again being polished up and repackaged.

The plan is to have both the ROW and the UK puzzles shipped this Wednesday (12th Feb) this will hopefully ensure Mercury's place at the Midlands Puzzle Party as well as the California Puzzle Party.

Although the UK puzzles were not affected by the drawbar issue they do need to be individually tested in the same way as the others.

Both Chris and I would like to thank you all for your continued patience and apologize once again for the unforeseen delay. Once this first batch of Mercury puzzles have been shipped work will immediately resume on the Purples whilst the feedback is gathered from our testers. If the first batch doesn't highlight any problems then, after the Purples have been sent, work will at once begin on batch two, as well as batch two Chris will be working on the Mini orders as well as the recent R1 pre-orders... So Busy Busy!

If anyone has any queries please do not hesitate to contact me,

Kindest Regards

Sophie

thanks Sophie, but unless the California puzzles are shipped through ultra-express mail, there is no chance they'll make the party on Saturday... Takes a bit longer to get here than 3 days :)

There is a VERY significant puzzle party happening here in California on the 15th as well. Would have been really good to have these in hand to take along. I know there are many who would have liked to see these. With delivery times, I suspect that won't happen, and it's a missed opportunity for Revo.

Good luck with the fix!
There is also one in New York. Would have been nice to bring one along to show people.
