I thought we could wake Grandpa Simpson up with another edition of

USELESS NEWS !

Seeing gramps snoozing away, made me wonder about why he's so tired. I think the reason is that we're coming up on the one year anniversary of the start of the purple lotteries.

I think the first drawing was February 16th, 2013. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we've had 86 rounds so far. There are only 19 more rounds until we get to the one year mark. There are only five rounds left before 2014, and some felt it was silly to include the year in my updates.

I suggested that another puzzle be made and that I would pay the material cost. I was shot down. I'm sure Will would be happy to do the same...you know...if they wanted to make this lottery round like every other lottery round. It seems a little trivial now when the puzzle quantities were originally based off of a competition that never happened.

I suppose it's all beyond the point of no return now, and that instead of backing up on their promises once again Revo HQ simply decided to wait for this to be gotten over with. And the fact is, eventually... eventually it will. So I see no reason for them to change their mind.

That aside, I do have some bucks saved for exactly that matter, just in case... if the stars align... you never know.
