Yeah, I realize that. Without new info from Chris, it's the best I can do.

In addition, 18 is one of two numbers seen most often in this lottery. This is the fifth time it's been seen.

Will this be the final round if there happen to be 3 winners?

As originally envisioned there should be one or more rounds.

If there are 3 winners, then the next round is for the last purple.
If there are 2 winners, then the next round is for the last two purples.
If there is one winner, then the next round is for the last three purples.

As long as the rules allow for 1,2 or 3 winners for each lottery, we don't know for sure how many lotteries there will be.
So there will be at least another lottery and as many as three additional lotteries. Of course having 3 more lotteries seems extremely unlikely.

My internet connection is still abysmal. I'm on a camp site and the WiFi is somewhat hampered by the wind and rain

What stats would you like?
In the last draw the 5 remaining contenders matched 7 balls between them. Two people match #48, all the others were individual matches. Of the 5 remaining, one person has 9 numbers, one has 10, one as 14 and two have 15 numbers.

Nobody has numbers 2, 16, 17, 19, 21, 30, 32, 35 or 47.
While the most popular numbers are 6, 11, 15, 25 and 33... with 3 picks each.

For the next round, I propose that the only the 6 main balls of the lottery draws are used and the bonus ball is ignored. This is mainly because I think we're going to have to cut ~90 people down to just 1 winner, and that could take an awfully long time.

Did that give you a little panic attack I had to reread it myself

So 11 of these only belong to 1 person the others belong to 2 people.

And that many numbers with 0 people picking could very well give a drawing that kicks everyone out
