Out of the hanayama puzzles I have those you pictured are my most favoured. My marble one has signs of stress though so I really should replace it.

Re: Mr Puzzle - Australia
thx! i only managed to solve the marble yet (out of the hanayamas) which i thought would be the most challenging
i locked away all the solutions so i HAVE to solve them
the donuts are driving me mad because there are not many possible ways to get them apart

That's true with the donuts. Unfortunate there are lots and lots of ways that don't open them.

Re: Mr Puzzle - Australia
I struggled more with the quartet than any other. The donuts takes a little thinking and as much as this won't help the solution somewhat stares you in the face! The square I did pretty much by accident but it's one of those puzzles that is great in the hands of others.

Marble is a great puzzle. What's your impression of the brass cannon?

I solved the brass cannon in under 1 minute but its well manufactured and simple looks great on the shelf!!
I try the quartett every now and then but no serious attempts. This will be quite a challenge i agree!
edit: just solved my donuts, wohooo!! it needs a bit of thinking how to disassamble it but in the end i got it
