Has anyone else had any contact or news about this project?

I backed the kickstarter but everything went very quiet after they mentioned "Finding a backer"

I also backed them. I doubt very much that we will hear much from them again though. Until it shows up in shops that is
Will we still get the discount promised to us? I doubt it...

Also, their website doesnt seem to have been updated either. So not sure what happened with their so called mystery backer

To be perfectly honest, I don't expect to hear from them. It's always possible, and I may just be jaded by some Kickstarters, but I feel the truth of the matter is if they had any hope of getting funding elsewhere, they didn't really belong on Kickstarter.

It's a dis-service to people pledging to do what they did.

I've tried their homepage a couple of times the last couple of weeks, but it's down. They have some kind of countdown clock still up, but the store and blog pages are down.

I'm not a backer, but perhaps you other guys that are have heard something?

I wrote the kickstarter email associated with the Lula Sanity about 2 weeks ago asking for any kind of update that could be passed on and have heard nothing...

Hmm, I can't figure out why. If things went south with the "investor" why not put it up on kickstarter again and pick up from where they left things? It's pretty poor!

They burned their Kickstarter bridge with me. I wouldn't back them again if they came back. Though It wouldn't have the desired effect, because if they did come back, I'm sure their target would be much lower. Either way, we're talking hypothetically now, I doubt anything will be seen.

I completely understand that. I do not like what they have done and how they have handled it.

I contacted the bloke that designed these yesterday. He promptly replied, informed me that he had sold the designs to a private buyer who may or may not release it. So.... who knows if it will ever come to be
