What is Minecraft?

Re: What is your "Holy Grail" of puzzles?
=P It's a video game. Comparing a video game to a sequential discovery puzzle could honestly be done with a whole bunch of video games. Adventure games are a good comparison too.
Minecraft is charming for a while, but for a long time it lacked an end.
It's got the same goal and premise as noshaq's jungle island. Survive starting with nothing.
