hi everyone, i'm curious how you guys store and/or display your certificates...
do you just put them away somewhere, frame them, put them back in the puzzle?
i've only got one so far, but i've been wondering what i should do with it.

Re: Certificates
I just keep them in my Gold box between the layers of foam so they stay flat. I'll probably get them all (once I get them all!) laminated at some point and maybe framed but at the moment they're out of the way.

Re: Certificates
I don't know what others do with them. I just keep mine in an envelope. I also don't bother reassembling the center steel draw when I use the puzzle after opening them.

Re: Certificates
Laminating sounds like a good idea, i may decide to frame them eventually.
pcad, i would have never considered not using the draw bar, for some reason i considered it crucial to the puzzle's functionality. i just took it out of my blue and rather like the look, not to mention the extra pin becomes a spare

Re: Certificates
Be careful with the pins, they aren't quite identical from what I remember of the reassembly instructions. I think one has a flat end and the other has a pointy end. I just remember mixing them up can make the maze not work properly so I get super paranoid and go step by step, word by word, during reassembly.

Re: Certificates
speaking from a one puzzle point of view, i've stared very closely at these pins for several minutes trying to distinguish them from one another and can only conclude that they are exactly same. i've reassembled the puzzle several times with no attention to which of the two pins i use and have noticed nothing different any of those following solves. also in the blue assembly instructions it says, "Add one of the pins into the draw hole... Add the other pin to the maze hole..." the general nonchalance towards which pin specifically should be used lends me to believe it doesn't matter. but that's just what i know of the blue (at least my blue, which is rather new), i wouldn't be at all surprised if any of the other mazes require different pins.

Re: Certificates
Nevermind, you are right. It just depends on which end of the pin you use not which one of the pins. They are identical.
I am still paranoid and label each of my pins as they come out just in case.

Re: Certificates
I've put the certificate back in the puzzle, where it belongs. If I put it anywhere else I risk to loose it, it's a chaos in my house.

Re: Certificates
Yes the pins are identical. But you might run into a problem if you leave out the drawbar. When you get to the end of the maze (any maze) without the drawbar in, the pin will fall through the hole where the drawbar should be and could subsequently be lost fairly easily.
The drawbar is not only a holder for the certificate but a functional part of the Revo. Therefore I'd always recommend assembling it completely every time. Obviously you may omit the certificate.
