Re: A new claim to the worlds hardest puzzle
From what it looks like £94 gets you the puzzle. No mention of additional prices after so to me it reads "pledge 94 and you get a puzzle".

Re: A new claim to the worlds hardest puzzle
I read it as, "Pledge ₤94 and get the puzzle for a discounted price". Which is the same for the higher pledges as well.Manifestjp wrote:From what it looks like £94 gets you the puzzle. No mention of additional prices after so to me it reads "pledge 94 and you get a puzzle".
There doesn't appear, to me, any pledge that will earn you the puzzle at no extra cost.
The puzzle will retail at ₤149, but it doesn't state the discount.

Re: A new claim to the worlds hardest puzzle
I must fail at language comprehension, but it seems fairly plain:
The only question that stands out is whether your 94£ gets applied to the 149£ you owe - so can you upgrade for 54£, or do you have to pay it separately? The way the site is written, it appears you pay separately. In either case, the guy can take a long walk off a short pier just like voyager.
What is an RRP though?
In other words, you pay 94£ and you get to buy it for 149£. So, in effect, you are paying 243£ for the puzzle at the end of the day. Which is supposedly less than what you would pay otherwise.Pledge 94£ or more
*EARLY BIRD SPECIAL* Choose any colour of the Lula Sanity Puzzle for the limited offer price, RRP 149£.

Re: A new claim to the worlds hardest puzzle
You got it half right, I think.
The puzzle is set to retail at ₤149 (Recommended Retail Price), which is why it's still ₤149 even if you pledge higher.
Pledging ₤94 or more (including the higher pledges) will allow you to purchase the puzzle at a discounted price, which is not specified. It might just be ₤149 minus your pledge, it could be more, but as I said, it's not specified.
That's how I understand it anywho.

Re: A new claim to the worlds hardest puzzle
I read it as 94GBP gets you the puzzle where the retail price will likely be 150GBP if this all works. An extra 8 gets you the mini. And 10 shipping outside the UK.
The other selections seem to be there because as the "early bird specials" get sold (50 spots) it moves to Second chance (104GBP and limited to 150 spots) then the Kickstarter Special (114GBP but unlimited spots)...
Maybe thats wishful thinking... i sure hope its not a down payment! :X
