Hello, I am also new here. I have bought the Revomaze Blue V1, recieved it on February 26, and still have not opened it! I keep falling in the same traps all the time, I restarted again and again and again, now I am at a point where I am stuck completely.... but I keep on trying again and again and again. ;)

Have you tried drawing out a map? Blue is pretty straight forward until you get to a certain point. But even this can be worked out with a decent map. Welcome to the revoworld ;)

A map is good advice. If you're at "that" part, keep trying and thinking. I remember being there and how the solution occurred to me. It can be approached logically also.

At this point it seems impossible and that's why I still think there should be a Revomaze which is one step easier, just to get the feet wet. I think just about every active member has opened theirs, so it is doable. Consider this too, some owners can open a blue in as little as 15 seconds and most can do it in 30 seconds. No shortcuts, no tricks, just running through the maze without any missteps. Hard to believe isn't it.

You'll do it, hang in there.

I'm a rookie here too. Recently opened the blue and now working on Green.

Maps are great. I think I got as much pride from seeing how accurate my map was as I did from opening the Revo. ;)

Yes I have drawn a map, and it helps to avoid the traps if I am very carefully, but now I always end up at the same spot, and dont find a way to go further. Maybe my map is not precise enough? But I keep on trying, I never give up! :geek:

Hard to say if it's precise enough. For the Blue you don't need 0.5mm resolution. I think a 2 mm resolution would be plenty. I suspect you haven't mapped as fully as you can. Sometimes the style of mapping makes a difference. I've seen maps of the blue where they tried to represent the width of the path and sometimes that makes it harder to figure out what to do. I'd suggest just a simple line to represent the center of the path.

If you can't go any further give it a rest. Sometimes just idle wandering around the maze can jog the mind.

These types of questions and discussions really belong in the blue registered forum. You need to apply for access. The directions are in the newcomers and FAQ thread. You'll also find some advice on mapping in there too.

My map is drawn with pencil on paper, just a line for the path, some arrows here and there, and some indications in red where there are traps. It helps, I am getting better to do the first part, but then I get stuck at some point, I see on my map that there is not much more space left over where I can go, so I think I will find a way to go further if I keep on trying all the possibilities! ;)
Today I will give it a rest, other things to do, and my hands need a rest. I am getting curious to see the inside of this puzzle.

Sorry for posting in the wrong forum, I just found that my puzzle is registred, I will have a look at the Blue Revo forum now.
