It works fine with an obsession core.

I just posted a bit of a warning for using the Silver with one of these, in the Silver Opened forum since it contains spoilers.

Thanks Stet .... I believe I already did the same on my blog post, however some clear tape on the inside will fix that issue :)

Was just thinking ... yea it might be a while but... depending... the clear sleeve idea for an R2 i bet would be just awesome!

Does that seem like a possibility?

Potentially, it would be possible although it'd be harder to make in acrylic. I think acrylic cases for an R2 would be prone to breaking.

Now that I've been reminded I have to write here to say that my clear sleeve has also arrived, and it really is a thing of beauty. Neil's work is really really spot on! The sleeve is perfectly clear and works brilliantly.

My Red is currently in there on display.

I also love how the padding in the shipping box was the acylic shavings from making the sleeve itself. :D

Thanks so much again for letting us be a part of this project Neil.

Just a quick update to everyone as there have been a few of you been in touch to ask where I am with this. I had some family stuff come up which delayed me a little and as you know this is just a hobby for me, so life gets in the way.

I also managed to completely blunt the drill bit I am using to core out the sleeve, so had to go get a new bit. I'm back to the point where the next batch will get started pretty soon, so if you're still waiting, be assured that I've not forgotten you, and I'll be in touch fairly soon. As I commented earlier, I'm not taking any more orders now, as I've mad far too many of these (and I'm getting bored of it!) so I'm moving on to the next puzzle project and getting back to working in wood.
