DCD = Dutch Cube Day - organised by the NKC - Nederlandse Kubus Club - generally in Eindhoven or The Hague, I believe...

... and separately, Wil Strijbos has a puzzle party at his home once a year...

Ooh when will that be Allard? I might take a flight to see that. I can only imagine what surprises Wil has hidden in his home....

I envy you your meet-ups. I wish we had more of them here but work and all that nonsense all too often gets in the way.

Taking a flight to attend a puzzle party? Who would do that, you must be joking!-)

If not, then you better make an arrangement for a private party when Wil does not have a house full of puzzle people. His annual puzzle party has a limited guest list, mainly because his puzzles don't leave much room for people to walk around. Seriously, it is crowded in there with or without visitors!

First I was actually really nervous when I said I'd be attending, because (for me) it's much easier to talk to people over the internet than it is face to face. However now I'm really ........ EXCITED!!!!! :D

(I just hope my bad back sorts itself out by then. the two hour drive will be very uncomfortable otherwise!!)

..I'll lay money on you coming away thinking to yourself "they're all just like me" - and being a little bit surprised by that... I suspect we were all a bit surprised that we weren't quite as strange as we'd imagined ourselves to be... except Oli of course, he is weird! ;)
