So I submitted my code entry at 11:17am. I was at work on a conference call when the email came in, so I'm positive I did not win.

What were your submission times?

Is anyone else disappointed that they released all the maps in one email? Sort of took the skill out of getting the transparencies all lined up since now you could just throw it into photoshop for 20 seconds.

but I screwed up my submission so I know I didn't win. But mine went at 11:04...

For what it's worth I already had everything stacked, just had to add the gold.

I submitted at 11.16, so just a fraction ahead of Thayne.

so far, I'm the fastest, just incorrect!

I spent (I.e. wasted) 6 minutes to print the gold map to a usable scale, and needed about 2 minutes to solve the maze and send the answer.
Then I noticed my web mail screen froze, so I was not sure if my mail was sent.
It took me one more minute to send another message from another device.
So 20:09 (Dutch time) is my time, and I still think my code is correct.

Sorry to hear about some of you screwing it up, but how did you do that?

Mine was screwed but I submitted it.
They could have at least made the maps the same size as the originals so it was easier to line up.

In my first mail, the second half of the code got lost (stupid me)

I had printed the first 4 maps merged together on a transparency, then downloaded the gold map and scaled it to match...
I missed a letter when I was typing in the solution, and I didn't double-check...
