I won't add any links now because I'm on my phone, but head over to the Puzzle Place Wiki and search for Wil Strijbos. You'll bring up a load of his recent puzzles, and many of them have links to various reviews from several prolific puzzle bloggers.

This message is on behalf of Wil, who is eager to satisfy all customers and also reads this topic every now and then.

Waddler and Chyron, please e-mail Wil and mention your forum names, so Wil can confirm that you are on the newsletter distribution list and to double check that your recent orders have been processes to your satisfaction.

All recent orders (from anyone) have at least been confirmed by a reply message now. If anyone did not get a reply to a recent order, please send Wil an e-mail to have it double checked.

Note from myself:
be aware that Wil is not reading this topic/forum frequently, so don't try to ask him questions via this forum, just e-mail him instead.
Today he is on a German Christmas market, so he may not reply to e-mail today.

In anyone is still unsure about communication with Wil, send me a PM or e-mail and I'll discuss it with Wil next Tuesday when I visit him to pick up my copy of the Lotus!-)

i agree with you on the aluminium cross and the AlCyl (aka. Blue Cylinder), and the rest i don't have (yet). However the Aluminium Cylinder kept me busy for a few hours and i only opened it by accident, and the First Box is still closed, taking me quite a while to open it.

I know they're your opinions, maybe because you have more puzzle knowledge than me, but i think they are more difficult than you have suggested ;)

Im getting the Dovetail Cubes and Dovetail T, as well as the Washer Cylinder and the Lotus, so i'll be able to comment on those soon too ;)

...a couple of worthless points from the sidelines:
[1] - Revomazes are proper, hard puzzles... if you cut your teeth on these things then a lot of other puzzles will seem pretty pedestrian - you won't find many puzzles out there to compete in terms of difficulty with a Bronze, Orange or a Silver. Gold is just a combination lock - ignore that one.
[2] Wil's a wonderful gentleman who happens to sell puzzles from his home - treat him like a gentleman and he'll repay the favour... and as Louis said, a direct email to him is the only way of getting a message to him - talking about him on a random forum is highly unlikely to summon up a positive or useful response, but please remember that he gets hundreds of emails from people who want his puzzles - so take the trouble to introduce yourself and play nicely... bu then that's always a good thing to do anyway.

Cake!

Wow! 20 minutes! Thats really awesome! With what Allard was saying about it months and maybe a year ago I'd have guessed it would have taken way longer!

Hence why I added the ........ or maybe not bit. Just because I have found what is normally the end goal doesn't mean I've found THE end goal. More exploring required I think!

Looking forward to the Lotus (mine it turning up today going by the tracking thus far) :D Hopefully :?

With regards to Wil's Dovetails, they're not what I would call "Puzzles" more miniature works of art :D

It's not so much the complexity, more the beauty of the joint and how it works ;)

I've found the burrs to be quite fun in trying to make other things out of them :D

My favourite so far has been the original cylinder :D It's portable and hard enough that it's impossible to fluke a solution :D

The Blue Cylinder is pretty much Fisher Price "my first puzzle"
