There's a great post by Allard about some "impossible card folding" on his blog:
http://allardspuzzlingtimes.blogspot.co ... sible.html
It's a great puzzle to figure them out. I've managed the first , but that Olympic ( TM ) ring one is just beyond
here's my first go at folding the first card ( many attempts on an old card, hence the wear and tear ) :

Re: Allard's Puzzle Blog
Very nice! Especially as a first attempt! Could you iron the cards to make them perfectly flat again?
I have to admit, after reading Allard's post I really wanted a few of these for my collection. Guess I'll have to make some for myself!

Thanks Not sure about ironing. You're right, though, - they should be displayed flat really.Paradox wrote:Very nice! Especially as a first attempt! Could you iron the cards to make them perfectly flat again?

If you make all the cuts, and just play around for a while, you should get it.

Re: Allard's Puzzle Blog
Guess that means I'll have to post my attempts as well then!
Re: Allard's Puzzle Blog
I've finished making a couple and they've come out quite well, but they're made using acrylic cards, so I'll post proper attempts later on when I can find a set of 'proper' cards to sacrifice at the puzzle altar.
