Wow $85 plus shipping for the Fire Plug!
Jerry, I guess you got a good deal! Some entrepreneur should start a company to remake all these discontinued puzzles. There's obviously a healthy market for them.

Yes, but the more there are on the market, the price would decrease.

not for the originals! purist will always aim for the originals thus meaning they will maintain their value the only thing that would change is that everyone would have the opportunity to solve the puzzles as they are available for purchase and not hidden away in collectors 'vaults'Fabregas485 wrote:Yes, but the more there are on the market, the price would decrease.

Re: Current Puzzle Deals
Yes I agree with RichAE91....I wish companies like Eureka or B&P would make more copies of the originals so that more people (like me:-)) would have a chance to try their hand at some of these nice but discontinued puzzles...I think its not just about manufacturing them, since they already must have the design, plans, moulds etc. when they first made the copies, but probably due to insufficient demand...Because I guess you need to make large enough numbers to be sold to be profitable. And honestly, I think the puzzle community is quite niche and too small to support the demand....so for now, the best we can hope for is someone willing to sell an original or copy for the puzzle to be passed to different hands...RichAE91 wrote:not for the originals! purist will always aim for the originals thus meaning they will maintain their value the only thing that would change is that everyone would have the opportunity to solve the puzzles as they are available for purchase and not hidden away in collectors 'vaults'Fabregas485 wrote:Yes, but the more there are on the market, the price would decrease.

King Cubi arrived and it's awesome. Much bigger than Super Cubi but the finish is beautiful and the mechanism is perfect!

Took 1.5 hours to open and close and my wrists took a battering after 3072 moves!!!
It will be on show at MPP6 which we will organise for after summer.

Re: Current Puzzle Deals
Absolutely awesome! I'd love to give that one a go!
Is there any chance you could take a photo of it next to maybe the Super Cubi for a size comparison? I'd find that interesting to see.
