Wow...£155. That seems to be a lot for this puzzle, even with a prototype core. Before bidding any higher, I suggest you read through the available red posts and bid accordingly if you're simply bidding for the red puzzle. If you're bidding for the prototype core, go nuts! :)

Almost as much as I paid for the Red EX from puzzle master and there's more than three days to go.

Yes you can use it:

Unplated cores work fine, but experience more wear and tear over time. The plated core will be included with it.

The interesting thing is that whoever receives this is technically receiving the answer to the Red at the same time.

Only if they pay very, very close attention :D The core could also be shipped wrapped up.
