Green Progress and Help

So I've managed to successfully map half of the Green, but I can't find any route around what I imagine to be a trench to access the other half of the maze!

Maybe my map isn't as successful as I first thought.

I think I'm going to have to try some sort of ruler on the cylinder. I just can't keep getting through the same section over and over. I may succeed once in every 10 attempts which is flipping annoying

Still doesn't stop me keep picking the damn thing up to have another go though
