the expected is 300+. But that is only estimated on the site. We will have to solve the algorithm first anyway, so the gold is a treat. I have not done anything yet but the blue, but i do advise, dont try ur hand at the gold until u have had practice with at least the bronze

HA! The bronze was a child's toy compared to the Silver. There was only one new trick to it. I highly doubt it will be useful to solve the gold.

hence the reason i specified, dont try ur hand at the gold, until u have at least had practice iwth the bronze. i never said it would be a big deal in solving, im sure it wont help much. but it will give a general idea im sure. this is basically what i hear.

I have no experience with the hard ones until about next week when i will finally get my long awaited bronze

While the advice is correct, I found the choice of source hilarious. :)

Well I hope it takes a long time, hence it will be more fun when I finally get to it. =)
But then again, my order wont even get sent before someone opens it. =/

So gold. To be honest, I'm not too bummed about the delay in its release. I kind of figured that would be the case, and it's always nice to see that Chris is getting a ton of business. If this keeps up, I may quit grad school, move to the UK and beg Chris for a job  Does everyone plan to tear into the box and work the puzzle until your fingers fall off? or are you going to take it slow, perhaps figure out the algorithm first? Me? I'm gunning for #1. I have a fresh training aid sitting in wait and ready to go. I'm curious about the "changing patterns" (I assume he's referring to gold). Regardless, October is going to be insane with the orange submission and the gold.

I'm going to approach the gold like a new lover. Slowly undress it and bask in it's elegance before playing with it.
