Here are some pictures of the prototype Revomaze R3.

I have not got it open yet, but from my understanding the core is a sphere with a maze on the lower half. It has a pin and the reset works as usual, although they seem to be radial with the main start/reset running laterally around the "equator" of the core. I'm told it is a static maze and it has some nice circular features. It would seem the pin drops into the core and allow the two halves of the outer shell to un-thread and expose the core. You navigate the maze by moving the core directly through the window in the shell. The feedback from the maze is very good. The weight and size is very satisfying to the hand, and you can navigate known areas with one hand, however while exploring I like to go slow and use both. I can't wait to finish it!
