I'd say that if you only 'have a clue' as to why it's called the Lotus, then you probably aren't done yet.

Well, I said "have a clue" because I didn't want to spoil it too much. I might say I actually got the "lotus clue" in my hands... I hope that's not spoiling!

The puzzle didn't open all the way. Just a few centimeters either side. I didn't get to see the innards.
And yes, a "thicker, shorter thingy" is what came out.

Can I still solve it with the new thing being out? Should the puzzle actually separate in two pieces when it's solved?

Update: I've contacted Kevin, and it seems that I did indeed "pull a Kevin". Tonight I'll try putting it back together, hopefully this way I'll be able to try again in a more "proper" way... :)

I still have to understand why it ate the "thin thingy" in the first place... :oops:

Well I have one!

and I cant for the life of me move the bottom half in the other direction no matter what i try! i cant even figure out how to lose the thingy! theres no where for it to go :(
