Each set continues to dwindle until three or less remain, at which point they win.

I do not see why we have to wait for Joseph or Chris to tell us who is on to the next round when the rules are clear and we know our own numbers.

No, I don't think you're out for good. I think you get another try after the first 1, 2 or 3 winners are determined. If you want an official answer ask Joe.

I'm not at all sure Chris and Joe will announce anything until all ten purples have been allocated. The only thing they have said is that they will email contestants and tell them if they advance or not, or if they win a purple. They said nothing about posting intermediate results.
