Here is my latest attempt for a clear Revomaze. I was able to find 2" clear round stock at a company in Seattle called TAP Plastic Inc. They cut the stock to length for me. The few in the background were my attempts at drilling. I tried a few different bits. I couldn't find a 15/16' fostner bit so used a plane spade bit in my drill press. I did it dry at first but it caused to much heat and made it cloudy with bubbles. I then just poured water in the hole and went really slow. It came out much smoother and with only a little cloudiness. At TAP I also bought the 3 stage polishing compounds and using a small rotary tool and polished the inside and ends. A through and through drill hole and spare spring and pin and I'm spinning! I blurred the photos over the maze but you see how it turned out on the serial number. It doesn't have the Revomaze "look" on the outside but it does the job! I am not planning on making any to sell. I need to get more stock and practice a few more.
