DCD 2012 is now also to be known as MPP8!!! Yes, we haven't even had number 7 yet and we're planning No. 8!

Flights and Hotel have been booked (for me) and details have been forwarded to those who are interested in attending. The location was in the last CFF magazine and I can confirm the hotel we have chosen is very close to the venue.

For anyone else interested in attending, the total cost of flight and hotel is around £150 which isn't too bad! Problem is how much DCD 2012 will cost you?!?!? That, my friends, is entirely up to you!!!

Details for requesting an invite will also be sent to those interested in joining us. Guest fee is €15 (€10 for NKC members)

One final question: For those attending and also for future MPP use would anyone be interested in an embroidered MPP polo shirt? Let me know and if the numbers are sufficient I will get them ordered in time for MPP7.

(Edit) MPP Polo Shirt Request List:

Nigel x2 (XL) & 'Nigel'
Allard x2 (XL) and 'allard' - all lower case :? (there's always one who wants to be different! )
Chris (S) & 'Chris'
Joe x2 (L) & 'Joe'
Louis (L) & 'Louis'
Ali (XXL) & 'Ali'
Rich (L) & 'Rich'
Oli (L) & 'Oli'

Although DCD is not near Eindhoven or Venlo this year, and some of you have already booked tickets, I am asking this anyway because I promised to:
Would anyone be interested in visiting Wil Strijbos in Venlo (his home & puzzle collection/paradise) the day after DCD?
It would involve staying an extra night and arranging some transport (maybe with me or with Wil or by train).
Please note this is a proposal, no arrangements have been made with Wil yet.

I'd like an MPP shirt, please.

I can't make DCD 2012 because I'll be in Erfurt, Germany, on the 4th.
Sounds like it is going to be a great trip, though.....

Re: MPP Polo Shirts

If I can get 10 people interested we can get them for £16 each. They will have the MPP logo embroidered on the left chest and say Midlands Puzzle Party UK on the back at the top.

Additionally I can have each persons first name put on the right chest at a minimal extra cost.

Navy Blue polo with light blue stitching for the logo is what looks good to me (text on back in white)

Let me know what you think but we can't have multiple colours to suit everyone!

Re MPP Polo Shirts:

Nearly there on numbers and just need to know sizes please (S, M, L, XL)?

Also yes or no for names on them. The majority vote will win. (I will go for yes as it will help new people at MPP and at the DCD and it will also be subtle and not massive!)

I'll have one, in small.
I don't mind about names, I guess it could be useful. If you do decide to go with names, I'll just have 'Chris' rather than forum name :)

edit: hotel booked :D

My size would be L and I would like my first name on it.

Nobody signed up for a visit to Wil yet. Understandably, but you are welcome to change your mind anytime...
