Re: Best sequential discovery puzzle?
The prices have been up to $1000 for the Angel box but I don't have the recent prices.

Re: Best sequential discovery puzzle?
$10K is crazy....
On a slightly more uplifting note, one sold earlier this year for $1500 here.
Last year one sold for under $1500 at the Cubic Dissection auction. There was also a puzzle lot on eBay that sold within the past year or two which included an angel box. I think the whole thing sold in the $2000-$3000 range.

I'm collecting unplated cores! Make me an offer if you are looking to part with any. Always looking for a black and a purple, too

Here is a video of a cool SD puzzle of 4-5 steps, the first one is quite unusual, with free 3D printed files to download!

Edit: I write the all adress as I don't manage to use the fonction to put the video directly in my message

[Edit: changed picture comment from Constantine(?) to Claus Bakenecker]
For those searching for a cheaper (albeit easier) alternative: It took me about 15 Min to open the box, more or less the same difficulty as the before mentioned Cannonball from Enigma (visibly above on the Labby-Box).
I've obtained my version (which differs from the pictures on the website) from http://www.cmc-puzzles.de/produkt/zigarre for 17,-€ plus shipping and handling.
Don't know whether they ship internationally.

Re: Best sequential discovery puzzle?
I see you have one of Jerry Loo's 10 piece puzzles in the background. Was it hard to assemble? I think they gave it a 9 out of 10 for difficulty.. KIRK

Re: Best sequential discovery puzzle?
Haven't tried that one yet. I'm not that good with Burrs and such kind of puzzles.

Re: Best sequential discovery puzzle?
I have heard the "Of mice and mazes" puzzle from Thomas Beutner is a sequential discovery. I could be interested in buying one: do you know how I can contact him/ if anybody (an IPP exchanger mainly interested in packing maybe) has one copy for sale?
Re: Best sequential discovery puzzle?
Here is a video of a really nice Sequential Discovery puzzle out of aluminium, I have tried for very long to know a bit more about that Samuel Kissling but never found anything...
He made some wooden puzzle box too which are ok but this metal one is amazing:

Re: Best sequential discovery puzzle?
3rd post in a row here, sorry...
A nice new puzzle maker popped on etsy on DEDWoodCraft shop, he has made a lot of puzzle and non puzzle boxes but he also sales 2 nice SD puzzles: Blinded II (a simple but fun puzzle which is a mix of Fuller, Snake and Pachinko by Strijbos) and Where is my hammer, in which I have already found a lot (!) of simple tools but don't manage so far to open it
Craftmanship is excellent!
Have fun
