MPP2 has now been and gone ... I've finally managed to gather some thoughts (and some pics) and have posted them on my blog for anyone who's interested ... over here.

Thanks to everyone who helped make it a really great day for me! (That's all of you who came, our mystery donor and Mark76 ... read the blog and you'll understand...)

cheers

Mate I must say that makes a quality read. If ever the PC takes a dive and you need to write...............don't forget "the pencil" I have it

FYI Oli came up with an idea to open Wil's bottle No.1 and guess what....it worked.

Thanks again Allard and the guys

kev1n wrote:So guys - sorry I couldn't make it! Had to work and the drive to Birmingham would have been too far after that!

But today Graham (Afkan) and I had our own little East Midlands puzzle party!!!! :D :D

He was up in Sheffield with some friends for the snooker and we spent a very pleasant few hours in a coffee shop with a mderately large assortment of puzzles to play with. The visitors to Costa coffee did give us a few strange looks. Graham brought a camera and took a pic of the table which I am sure he will post.
I brought:
Explosion cube
Danlock B
Aluminium cylinder
Green apple
Blue revo ex (Graham's request)
Wausau 83
Computers choice unique 10 burr
Decemburr

He brought:
Red revo ex (my request) and red obs
Cast marble
Cast nutcase
Cast square
Cast quartet
Cast equa
Cast H&H
Metal Rubik's cube (he has a very novel solving approach!!)
An odd asymmetric twisty cube puzzle
Svetnashki puzzle

A great time was had and we both hope to make it to the next MPP
Had a fantastic few hours with you Kev 8-)

Our selection of puzzles 8-)

I couldn't believe how the time flew  :o
