It could be an all in one place, consolidating some of the more important gems of information that are spread across the forums. It could have things such as contact information and information on what to do when you have opened the maze, who the moderators are and what they can help with, general non-hint tips such as how mapping things out helps, solutions to certain problems such as if the core gets stuck in hot weather cooling the maze can unjam it, and reinforcement of what not to do such as banging or hitting the maze on things...
I agree with everything in your post, put in particular this ^. This is the sort of thing that I had in mind to create, not necessarily just to make it easier for new members, but to make finding the useful information easier for everyone!

If there's any topics/posts you think are particularly useful then PM me the links and I'll start compiling a list of useful stuff. When there's a decent amount fo stuff then I'll post it.

I fully agree with Chris, Serial and Matt on the above. If we are not careful this will become like a twitter forum rather that specific Revo discussion board and that's not what it's here for.

We are in danger of scaring new members away by the shear volume of posts and random postings etc.

My intention is to meet up with Chris and Allard and tidy things up some time this month. We will create a newbie info section, tidy/merge topics so they stay in relevant subject areas and possibly create a chat area so people can just make random comments.

I will also try to set up some housekeeping rules so we keep things tidy in the future.

In the meantime can I ask that you all try to avoid creating too many new topics and that any posts pertain to the thread title please!

Thanks guys :)

Does this mean I can start editing posts for grammar and spelling, just because that conveniences someone? Cause, I find that super obnoxious behavior :p

Yes, I jumped to an extreme of interpretation.

I like Serial's suggestion to create informative stickies. I also think that some cleanup could be done just to the number of subforums that are here....

But, I think we have a long way to go before we scone 4chan.

Yes. By all means correct my grammar. I was raised in the South and they thought that it was more important to be able to write than to write well.

Hello....?

Echoes: Hello...?

Echoes: Hello.....?

Awful quiet around here...

One mod goes and starts editing for grammar and all of a sardine no-one wants to say anything...

Weird bunch...
