Look up contact juggling.
It's neat, but you'll need a lot of patience.

definitely look into it before investing the money... the learning curve is pretty steep to get decent at it... you might try using a softball or something large like that first - a bigger sphere is easier at first...

i meant i need to see it in action firsthand. i understand what it is, but for any product such as this, i must see it in action before buying it

Like I said, look up contact juggling because that's what it's used for.

i have a background in magic,and do alot of card manipulation under the tutolage of 'De'vo'...i have been doing some contact juggling with my japanese excercise balls already...i know exactly what i ordered.
i got the 3" 'original' ball and the 4" acrylic ball.
if you take a look at the david bowie movie 'labrynth'..you will see the balls in action...very similar to the fushigi...as with anything..you will reap what you sow in relation to practice and patience...
i am adding these to my magic trunk... ;)
