i saw a man wearing a tie tack in the shape of illinois with that crazy symbol on it...i blatantly ask him "Are you a freemason?"
he said yes....then said he couldnt talk about it....i looked at him like "ok dork"...he then proceeded to tell me a little about the free masons..lots of mention of "Shriners"...and "being a better man"....and religion.
he claimed to be a "Templar"...i almost laughed out loud.
Apparently the freemasons are a charitable,religious,self improvement "sect" that study "The Truth" what ever the hell that is.
or this guy was just full of (beep).
he seemed schooled in the diffent "levels" of mason one could achieve and they all seemed to be "monetary" in requirements.
the air of secrecy makes me lean towards "arrogance"..maybe "self rightousness"...i full on expected him to say "you have to be white"..or "you have to be ......"......he said a few things that sounded a little crazy.....i may have to investigate this...who wants me to join so i can infilltrate the lodges and then report to everyone my findings?.
that would be fun aye?.
i am afraid i would find out that i like it and become a full on master mason....who knows...all i know is i am intrigued....
