I'll be on the stand all day Saturday and Sunday and possibly Friday afternoon so I'm OK for Friday or Saturday evening although I might only be able to stay a short while due my dog allergy!
Still, I could just sit outside and solve puzzles on my own!

Surely no, we can't have that!Barcared wrote:...although I might only be able to stay a short while due my dog allergy!

Allard, assuming that the MPP2 is at your's (thank you very much for offering (again!!)), are there and pubs (or similar) near yours that wouldn't mind a bunch of puzzle folk and their toys for a few hours. Maybe have half at yours/half at the pub for meal/drink/whatever to coincide with those coming back from GSL?
Just an idea...?

Re: EOI MPP2
YES, I am definitely coming over again. As soon as the date is fixed I'll book my GSL & KLM tickets. since GSL tickets are now afternoon only, I intend to travel in the morning and visit GSL in the afternoon, either Friday or Saturday. After that I will happily accept Allards offer to visit him and use the SBR. My flight back will have to be on Sunday, 17:30 or earlier.
Anytime in between I will be happy to talk and puzzle with fellow revowners at Allards house or any other place (near Birmingham!-). I would also be happy to help on the GSL revo stand, but since English is not my native language I may not be the best candidate for that IMO.
PS: from the other topic I understood the best day for MPP would be Saturday, see also http://www.revomaze.co.uk/phpBB3/viewto ... f=7&t=1094 (maybe one of the mods could merge the topics?-)

True, but I avoid those tasks while on the iPhone. Thanks anyway.bluesign2k wrote:Done. Though you are a mod
I really hope more puzzle enthusiasts will join the MPP2, it was a great and very relaxed day last time. I met a bunch of very nice people and a lot of puzzles. Afterwards I regretted having not enough time in one day to pay attention to all of them.
Anyone wanting a Svetnashki (or other) puzzle from http://www.Pienterepuzzels.nl without shipping cost? Just let me know.

Re: EOI MPP2
Today I invited a famous Dutch puzzle collector/producer to MPP2.
(He who recently shared pictures of his collection with most MPP1 attendees . )
He liked the invitation , but he will not be able to attend .
I intend to visit him (and go shopping) after MPP2, maybe he can come along next time.
Can we settle a date/time for MPP2 already?

Proposed Plan: MPP2
OK, here's the current thinking:
Some of us are going to GSL on Friday...some of us are going on Saturday, some will no doubt be going on Sunday. Most seem to be opting for Saturday the 16th. GSL closes at 6pm.
Propose to start MPP at my place, starting any time in the afternoon on Saturday (so feel free to roll in after GSL if you're going on Saturday, or any time after lunch time if you aren't) - I'll supply caffeine / other beverages and some snacks. Then decamp to one of the local 'establishments' (either Barnt Green Inn or The Victoria) away from the resident canines somewhere around 6:30 or 7 and then spend the rest of the evening there... suspect that if there are going to be a few of us, we should be able to reserve a couple of tables off to one side in the pub...
...that sound like a plan?

Sounds like a good plan.
I will be in (or around) Birmingham from Friday to Sunday afternoon.
So I'm all in.
