I know I'm raising an old topic from the dead but I went to see the new Predator film the other day ( ) and then found these on the internet whilst searching for Predator related stuff. In years previous I have 'opened the doors of my perception' in the woods around Surrey - I'm sure as salamanders glad I never came upon anything like these as I may never have recovered from the shock!

The artists name is Rob Mulholland and the statues are 2.6m mirrored Perspex. The Mirror People statues are installed in the woods around Loch Ard and the David Marshall Lodge, Aberfoyle, Scotland.

That's amazing! Speaking of predator, I just saw the new predators movie and was pleasantly blown away! Finally someone did another predator movie but good this time. Not like the horrible avp franchise.

I liked it initially but I think it could have ended a bit better. I think my qualms about it come from the inevitability of comparing it to the Arnie original and I don't think it can be done.

I used to walk around the David Marshall lodge fairly frequently when I lived in Scotland ... never did see those!
