I think I have now spent more time on my orange design than most of you will take to solve it (hopefully more than 30 hrs)

I'm giving it a solid rating of 77.0 although I guess that is up to the boss.

Since there is still several weeks to go I'll see about bringing it up to the 81.6 to 84.3 range

Mine is about a 70 right now but the Ideas are still pouring.

Mine is near impossible to do. I will definitely tone it down for the actual submission. I suspect the difficulty of mine also makes it highly unlikely to be manufactured because the costs would be enormous.

I've been waiting to see the Orange packet before finalizing mine, because there are likely to be restrictions that will require me to modify it.

I want to know, how many people are designing the solution to the maze before adding red herrings?

I did have a semi-trained monkey in my original design, now I toned it down to a gardenhose and a pitching wedge.

I fear I'm designing something to beat the elite puzzler - gota keep in mind that cost and construction effort may dismiss an overly ambitious design.

Kind of a neat feeling, nevertheless, to know that so many of you guys have already bought my winning design

Once submitted the designs probably become property of Ashton Pitt so there is hope for you guys as your ideas may show up in Series II puzzles.

that's not what we want to hear are you saying that some lurker will wow with is mute puzzle building skills. that's no fun. I think we should narrow the field my excluding all introverted MENSA members.

hmm, well 300 of the 400 forum members have less than 5 posts so there are lots of people just watching the forums not activity participating.
