Also, my Red is officially stuck in customs. I called USPS today, they called customs, customs said it was being investigated because it appears "suspicious".
I would just like to thank Fred for wiping explosive residue on my Red maze.

Wait, how is this the fault of USPS? USPS is not U.S. Customs. First, it's not a government agency. Second, it's not the one holding your package. Third, it can't hold your package without a good reason. Whereas Customs is a government agency, has your package, and can hold it as damn well long as they please (okay, there is an actual limit, but it has so many exceptions it is effectively worthless).Manifestjp wrote:Yep that's the same for me. I really really REALLY hate USPS!!
Interesting. With the amount of shipping that I do, I have to say that USPS seems to screw it up the least. UPS is far and away the worst, they lose, misdeliver, break, misallocate packages all the time and never seem to maintain a steady schedule. Promised to have a package by 9:00 AM? Oh, sorry, it's going to be there at 2:00 PM, when you are no longer available to sign for it. Pre-signed for the package? No problem, we'll put our "please sign for the package" notice over the top of your pre-signature. Shipped glass and had it marked fragile? No problem, we'll make sure it arrives in innumerable pieces. Need that sensitive legal document shipped to the recipient by 8:00 AM the next day, paid $200 to mail it? Great, we'll lose it and it will never arrive, oh and your client? He's screwed. Yah, UPS, hands down, the worst. I would say my failure rate with them nears 40% of packages shipped. FedEx always gets it there, eventually and often in good shape, but has a failure rate around 15%. USPS, if they say it's next day, it's there next day - my failure rate with them is less than 1%, but I have had a few things go missing.Manifestjp wrote:Well minus this package I've had many problem with them recently. This time it might be their fault but the USPS still is the worst way to send anything IMO.
