Just thought I'd introduce myself, the name is Adrian, and I've just pre-ordered Silver.
This is my first Revomaze, and I guess some of you may think I'm a little crazy jumping in at the deep end with Silver
, but I think I may have a bit of an aptitude for these things (famous last words...)My day-job is Software Tester, working for a console-games company in the West Midlands. Basically, it's my job to prod and poke a game into crashing (thereby finding bugs). This involves a lot of exploratory analysis and methodical pattern-testing, not unlike a Revomaze puzzle.
Hobby-wise I have recently begun to collect puzzles, with the Revomaze being the second piece in my collection. I'm also a keen enthusiast of close-up sleight-of-hand card magic.
So, what with the 'black box' analysis I perform at work, coupled with my manual dexterity gained from the sleight-of-hand work, I think I stand a good chance of (at least someday!) solving Silver.
I guess I'll find out come October 14th...
