I've seen a number of stands created for Revomaze, but I hadn't come across one that really shows off a solved maze as well as an unsolved one. So I created yet another 3D printable Revomaze display stand.
Both V1 and V3 puzzles are supported.
Solved V1 and V3 puzzles in stand
Unsolved puzzle in stand
Just on the off chance that someone else finds this useful, the STLs are on thingiverse

and the OpenSCAD design files are on available on Github.

Re: Display Stand
I like the slimness of your design.
If I were to remix this, the only change I would make would be to elevate the shaft and body slightly to show them off a bit more.

Since the same arms are holding the shaft in both open and closed configurations, they're kinda locked into being parallel to each other. I originally tried to get more of a steeper stair-step effect, but in the end couldn't come up with anything better than just slipping a wedge under the whole assembly.
... either that or moving the camera angle

Re: Display Stand
I see what you did now. You made it so that the version of the stand is collapsed when unsolved and expands when solved. Clever!iconoclast wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 7:54 pm Since the same arms are holding the shaft in both open and closed configurations, they're kinda locked into being parallel to each other. You could print an extra riser for it like such (red):

ah, yeah, I should've mentioned that in the brief description. I suppose it shows how long I've been staring at half-finished versions of the design that I forget it's not obvious from the pics just how it stacks together.ReVoRabbit wrote: ↑Thu Nov 03, 2022 9:01 am I see what you did now. I like that! You could print an extra riser for it like such (red):

I've been trying to trying to incorporate some space to stash pins or springs or any other odd parts that might theoretically fall out of a solved puzzle. There may be potential here to solve both at once.

That extra base could be a sliding drawer. It could also be a safe place for the certificate. I like where you are going with this.iconoclast wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 12:10 am I've been trying to incorporate some space to stash pins or springs or any other odd parts that might theoretically fall out of a solved puzzle. Another suggestion for you is that black does not photograph details well. I'd print the parts of your stand in different colors, so the awesomeness of your design stands out in your demo photos online.
