Pouch for the Revos?

Post by Quaxo76 »

I have a question for you guys... Where do you keep your Revos when on-the-go? I know many just display them; but I live in a rather dusty place, and especially when I take them out with me, I'd like to keep them protected. Right now, I'm taking my green with me everywhere, safely tucked in a thick sock (!) but it's not really dignified. Are there more elegant, quality pouches I could use? I think I saw something like that in some photo here in the forum, but I have no idea how to find it again! :)

If you search for 'velvet pouch' on eBay you'll find a load of cheap but nice looking pouches that are great for holding Revos. However they are useless if it comes to drops and knocks.

I know, I know, I'm not seeking for protection from drops. Just protection from dust, scratches from keys, and so on... ;)
Thanks, I'll look into eBay... I just thought there was something more specific for our Revos.

PS - Are "knocks" as bad as "drops"? I thought I could safely put down the Revo on a table, for example, without having to be "extra gentle"...

PPS - The V2 Black Obsession has a flattened part opposite the sticker. I think it's great to stop it from rolling off a table. Why isn't it done on metal ones too? Only aesthetics?

Absolutely fine- don't worry about that at all!

...there's no mechanical reason....

The metal RevoMazes originally came with black velvet pouches to keep them clean and scratch free while transporting them. Somewhere along the way that stopped.

The metal RevoMazes originally came with wood stands to keep them from rolling while being displayed. Somewhere along the way that stopped.

I found these nifty little pouches in the camera department at Wal*Mart.
They are black & gray kind of a nylon material with a zipper on one side.
The zipper tab has a key ring through it and the name on the pouch is
"case logic". There is also a nylon strap on the back of the pouch which
you can hold onto it with or you could run your pants belt through it.
