Post your collection
Re: Post your collection
The guys name is Wil Strijbos, and from what I've heard, he makes some of the best puzzles around and has quite a following
Solved -- Blue & Blue Pro, Green Obs, Bronze, Salmon, Titanium, Aqua & Gunmetal
Re: Post your collection
The easiest way (and cheapest) to purchase a puzzle is to email him and ask to join his mailing list at: puzzle.strijbos@wxs.nl.
Ask him for his current catalog to see what he has available. Another option is to search for Wil at puzzle master, mr. puzzle, or sloyd. These will tend to be more expensive but offer a wider variety of his puzzles.

Puzzle master does not have much of a selection at the moment though.
In terms of great puzzles to buy first, a great resource is to look for puzzle reviews from Allard and Kevin on their blogs. Read up before deciding to purchase in order to get a feel for if the puzzle will be right for you. From Wil, a great start would be to buy his aluminum cross, sweta cross, and/or lotus box. Here are links to the blogs:

Lastly, a great place to buy hard to find items are at puzzle auctions, but we can talk about those another time. It's probably safer to try out a few from these sellers first.

I know this is probably not the topic that post belongs in, so it may get moved...

Re: Post your collection
I'm glad it's appreciated. I should mention my favorites so far (other than revos) are the lotus from Wil, Big Ben from Mr. Puzzle, 4 steps visible lock by Robrecht Louage, and #1 is Louis Coolen's 3D printed lock. Best $10/$15 I ever spent! Came with a Christmas note and everything...
If you PM me your email, I'd be happy to send you a catalogue of Robrecht's puzzles that he sells himself by email. They are great and his 4 steps visible lock is tricky and perfect to give to no puzzlers because you can see what you're doing the whole time! If you're looking for more of a challenge, he has plenty for that too (I'd recommend 8 stars labyrinth).
Some great take apart and put together puzzles are available on Shapeways that are inexpensive. I've attached two of my favorites:

Sorry for the long posts, but hope this helps out those of you getting started. It can be hard to get some of the better, expensive puzzles but if you're interested in those, I can talk about auctions.

Re: Post your collection
Not too bad for starting to collect a year ago! Can't believe I managed to get my hands on a copper indigo and titanium in the last 6 months.

Re: Post your collection
Nice collection! Good job on collecting them!

I just have a doubt concerning that obsession core there... This is a generic section so perhaps the exposed core should not be shown here....?

Re: Post your collection
You must have the biggest Revomaze collection. This is amazing! I can see that you have the same stands (IKEA) as I have for my collection
Thanks for the picture!
