Works perfect!
I was a bit scared too last night to see a completely empty forum, but of course Chris & Chris fixed it overnight.

Re: TouchBB
Cool I'm pleased just how many people are making use of it. Initially there were only a few that asked for it but I see there's a whole lot more people using it now.
I tried it briefly on my iPod and personally, I couldn't get on with it... maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it.

Re: TouchBB
I hate it too Chris.
I like it for reading but it has problems with posting - no signature added to your post, no way to add smilies, no way to quote previous text. It is also a bit awkward to navigate pages of a thread because the buttons are too close together.
But on an iPhone it makes the font size easily legible without constant zooming and scrolling.

Re: TouchBB
...it really needs a button for "View new posts" - which has apparently been promised for the next release...but having said that, it does make just reading posts a lot easier than Safari...

iPhone: The only two useful things to do with an apple are eating and throwing.
I always thought my Palm Pre was 'SO SLOW', then when all my load times beat the 3GS and i'm like, 'really dude? get rid of that apple.' not to mention the pre has all the functionality of a iPhone, except it can handle limitless applications at one time. Oh, and it uses induction charging which charges faster than the iphone plug and also allows me to swap batteries on long days where i need my phone and cant get to an outlet.

Re: TouchBB
TouchBB appears to have died.
TapTalk is a little more involved to install. I'll try it on Puzzle Place first when I update the software sometime this week (hopefully). Once I've figured it out I'll try to get Chris to install it here (it needs server access, which I don't have).

if you still have an apple phone, try the installed section - it is placed where the "updates" section is..a-maze-ing wrote:TouchBB still works on my previous phone, but I cannot install it on my new one since it seems to have disappeared from the AppStore.
Does anyone have a good alternative to access the forum on small mobile apples?
E.g. can the forum be made tapatalk-compatible?
