Just ask yourself which event is more important and which event will be more fun. People get married all the time, but the Midlands Puzzle Party Saturday 5th February 2011 will only happen once! Plus, I have it on good authority that Nigel plans to jump out of a cake.

Perhaps they could reschedule the wedding?

Indeed!

How does that saying go again? You can choose you family but you can't choose your puzzle parties.

Or something to that effect. ;)

Hi Nigel

Put me down on the list as well please - can hardly not go when its just around the corner when there will be so many others from thousands of miles away that I am sure would love to be there.

As said would also be great to put faces to the names I have seen so many times on all these threads - I may not post much but I sure read lots of postings. Have met Allard a couple of times and am sure you wouldn't want me to judge all the moderators just on him!

Doubt if there are many/any puzzles I could bring that you serious collectors / addicts (delete as applicable) don't already have (mostly revos, cast, danlock, poplock etc) - maybe a couple of Pentangle wooden burrs.

Would be great to have a look at some of the Karakuri cubes (easy if we are at Allards) and would love to see an open Black Extreme - have opened the obsession but with the Black we know you just have to see the maze to really appreciate it.
Open = Green, Blue, Bronze, Red, Black, Black V2, resting = Silver, started = Gold, ready for when Gold gets too much = Orange.

There's definitely going to be at least one Black Extreme there as I plan to take one of each type of my revos ;)

Thanks bluesign

Allard did offer to lend me his a few weeks ago but with there being only 20 and irreplacable I didn't like the responsibility of borrowing it.
