Re: IS ANYONE ELSE LOSING SLEEP?

Now that I have completed everything from Blue to Bronze, plus a borrowed Black, I am fidgeting eagerly for the Silver.

However, the real question is - which will arrive first: My bottle of Spice Tree Whisky shipped from London today via Parcelforce -- or my RevoSilver shipped sometime during this last week?

See, the problem is, if the Whisky arrives first, then I might be too inebriated to do the Silver. But, if the Silver arrives first, I might not have enough Whisky in me to steady my nerves and keep my hands from shaking. It is a very delicate balancing act between the two of these and leaves me wonder just what to expect next! ;)

I"ve never had spicetree, looks yummy thought. I did have the same dilemma with a bottle of 12 year old balvenie ..

Have you had the spicetree before? How is it? To what would you compare it ... it's only 7:10 a.m. here, but you're making me thirsty :)

I had some of the original Spicetree before the Scotts shut them down for using staves. It was astounding and fairly unique. Unfortunately, it is no longer available. This bottle is a revamped version that attempts to replicate the original, but uses a different process. I will let you know how it is when it shows up.

Now what I really want to taste is my bottle of 1957 Madeira, but I do not have the equipment to top it off and recork it. So it gets to sit in the wine storage until I have my gear together. In the mean time, I keep seeing amazing deals as all the idiots auction off their cellars .... But I just cannot bring myself to pay for an 1735 Madeira sight unseen. Too much chance for fraud unless it is certified and guaranteed. Oh, but it is delicious....

I read about the scot board of whiskies shutting it down for using the wood insert in the 2nd round of distilling .... are any originals still out there?

Sorry to interrupt the whisky debate but I'm a little shocked that no-one has got a silver yet, not even in the UK!

Chris PM'd me last week and said I would definitely get mine by the end of last week but another week has gone by and it seems nobody has got one yet. I'm sure we are all patient but if there are further problems with manufacture isn't it better we know and I personally would even be happy with a statement of 'We can't give a release date yet until we are 100% happy with the product but we will keep you all informed of progress'

It's the anticipation that sucks!

They are all with UPS now - I was on the phone to Chris a few days ago and he ended the conversation by saying "anyway, back to filling out the UPS forms". So DON'T WORRY!! They are all out there. Remember, that now supplying through couriours, we know that none will disappear in the post BUT due to people being nervous using Royal Mail, more and more people are using couriours. They are now having a much heavier workload. They do as many 'drops' as they can. All puzzles are trackable (which is good to know) and most of them will be sitting in vans right now.

Hope this helps. Oh, and thanks to the quality control, this maze is absolutely perfect.

Most of all, this puzzle is really a completely different creature.... if someone gets it a couple of days later - it REALLY won't make a difference!

the question i know a few are going to ask is, "do we get tracking numbers?"

Barcared: UPS does saturday deliveries and delivers until something like 8pm here in the states. there is hope yet!

Although i do feel your pain. I kept this weekend scheduled as RevoTime. It would be a shame if it didnt show today...
