RevoMate you misunderstand my sentiments. I honestly don't mind mine not arriving yet. I just expected someone/anyone to have got theirs by now. When we know that, we can all just sit and wait for our own to arrive - whenever that may be. However, when nobody has got one and you don't hear any different you rightly or wrongly, assume something else might have gone wrong.

If you say they are with the couriers then great, I will look forward to getting it sometime next week.

Also remember that Chris's goal is to get them all to arrive on the same day. so you shouldnt hear someone got theirs before you got yours.

I read about the scot board of whiskies shutting it down for using the wood insert in the 2nd round of distilling .... are any originals still out there?

Originals are all in the hands of collectors as far as I am aware. I haven't seen any for a while now. One of the better turn of the century cocktail lounges near me used to have some, but last time I went in they were out.

I am sure the puzzles will arrive when they arrive. And we will enjoy them, when they arrive. I wouldn't worry about them before then. If someone doesn't have theirs after they have heard of a lot of people getting them - that's when to worry .

Did you ever have the original spicetree to compare? I found a website in the states that carries the new one for about $50 ... just wondering if it's worth throwing it into my rotation....

I did try the original spicetree - it was excellent. I will let you know how the new one is once it shows up.

on the other hand:if you say you have the swine flu here in america they/we dont let you come back to work until you no longer have a fever ....so i suggest going with the n1h1 excuse..they will MAKE you stay home
you can probably get 3 days for that one!...72 hours to puzzle!
i am excited as well but i wont be missing work to do it!
