When the Obsessions were first introduced the codes were to be used in a "rewards" section. Just what this was or would have been is a mystery. I don't think it was ever implemented so whether it was a prize or a competition it doesn't really matter. I think this predates the troubles with the Red obsession and the early versions of the silver. I think it would be an understatement to say the business became complicated and the obsession reward section went to the bottom of the list of things to do.
Does this mean you shouldn't register the code? Of course not, but it won't be particularly useful at this time.
Will these obsession codes ever be used for anything? Probably not, but then I'm not in a position to know.
I have six obsessions and have registered all the codes. I registered them just because I could and that's enough for me.
I'm not sure the new obsessions even have code slips. I thought they were being phased out.

Solved this maze yesterday. I think it took a total of about 4 hours, but 90% of the puzzle was finished in an hour and a half. This would definitely be my favourite static maze of that last bit was a little less annoying. All in all I really liked it though, and I'd like to know how to register and obsession as open if anybody could help with that? I checked the faq forum but I couldn't find anything on getting into obsession open groups. Thanks anybody who can help.

I have the Obsession with the green R which I presume is the black then. I have been reading all the advice hear and have been employing them for almost a week and for many hours. I have mapped the only move I have been able to make. Like others I am totally stumped. I can describe more fully but do not want to divulge tha first move. I need a little nudge here. I won't stop but would like to know how to proceed. Lucky I couldn't find the hammer yesterday. Thanks.

I found that to be one of the best ive done so far. Not to easy, not to hard. Which part are you stuck?
