I initially did approximately the first half from memory, but resorted to mapping the whole once I got stuck.

I was able to complete Aqua, Blue and Green without any mapping. I didn't even attempt Mint or Titanium without mapping. I like the idea of making mental maps...but seems that some of the areas in the more difficult mazes would just lead for more frustration than fun for me without mapping.
