If only it had just been that much!!!
You know the price of the First box alone was considerably more than that!!!
I have actually spent an absolute fortune on all my puzzles recently!! I'm in touch with my feminine side - I got a bit of a shock recently and so went on a shopping spree to calm myself down - see my blog post here:
http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/2012/06/boun ... l-and.html
I have to be in touch with my own feminine side - I'm not allowed to be in touch with anyone else's!!
Alimorris wrote:Allard is so right with what he says about that Bl**dy Blue Box! It's great inside. No I'm not rubbing it in, I'm willing you on to open it!
I'm trying, I'm trying!
Unfortunately at the moment I am struggling - I think I might have bought too many puzzles at once. I keep jumping from one to another! :o :o
allardwza wrote:Come on Kevin - it's simpler than that Bat thing! [and were you really paying attention when you did those things to it? :geek: ]
You seem to think I have made major progress with the bat!
I have opened the first lock and got all the tools out that I can find inside. I cannot for the life of me work out yet how to use what I have found to open the second lock! I had a hairy moment putting a tool in with a thread on it and then getting it stuck in a hole! Luckily I didn't do what Neil did!!!
So now I am staring at it and reduced to poking various bits down various holes! :(

...don't feel bad - that one is VERY SNEAKY ... Oh, and don't look at Neil's pic! ;)

...I always find it interesting to ask "what CAN I do (with this stuff)?" ... and take it from there...

Sadly I'd asked what can I do with this stuff, did all of that, thought of some more stuff, did that too, then thought of something else, and got something stuck! Hey from what Brian tells me, people have stuck all sorts of things down those holes, and many did not come with the puzzle! At least I found my mistake on the puzzle!

Decided to branch out today and pick up a couple of Wil's creations. Just ordered both Cylinders a minute ago. :D

Uh oh! You're on the slippery slope. To avoid waking up one day and realising you're bankrupt, I advise against asking Wil about puzzle boxes!

The cylinders are both great although the first is my favourite of the two :)

Ok so I didn't mention price really.
Yeah let's keep it that way shall we ;)

I wouldn't dream of telling my other half how much this stuff costs :o

I'd be in more trouble than the baker who started the Great Fire of London

My wife knows exactly how much all this stuff costs, but then I know exactly how much it costs for her to get her hair done, her nails, so it all evens out!

Of course my wife knows how much these puzzles cost. She bought me the CE set.

Hmmmm, Wils first box, six dovetails, two Cylinders, nut & bolts, various JCC puzzles, a couple MG originals, the Aluminium Burrs, a Rodger and many more she might not know? ;)

That said, my wife and daughter don't miss out!
