To make things worse, I recommend the new first box.
Back in April I got a chance to try out a prototype at Wils place, and I had serious fun exploring it. It is a real mechanical puzzle, requiring serious investigation to solve. Although the pictures suggest that some modifications were made, so I may have dealt with a simpler version...

Yesterday was fathers day over here, and I received the fake box from my kids. That was instant fun, because I knew the solution (since MPP6) and they didn't. And then all of a sudden it had a coin inside, which they could hear and see, but not touch...!

Seriously scratching my head over Wil's First Box. Have done lots to it but haven't found the eureka moment yet! Must be more going on inside than I thought.
