Re: Mr Puzzle 20th Anniversary Puzzles
I now have a new Koala to look after, also a copy of Six of One and a couple of other puzzles I added to the order
Only snag is I have to wait until I get home after work later to play with them.
Will post pics and first impressions later....

Re: Mr Puzzle 20th Anniversary Puzzles
Ok, first impressions on the Mr Puzzle 20th Anniversary Puzzles:
Six of One Half a Dozen of the Other:
Its quite a big lump for what appears to be a six piece burr, rich dark wood with the signature Mr Puzzle routing on the ends. I have played with it a little but have yet to get the first piece out. Its actually more complicated than I expected it to be and a little daunting when you get into it. Apparently its fully solvable without a computer... Ill let you know about that!
Katie Koala:
She is a beauty, lovely finish and a very solid feel (in fact I was surprised at the weight). Made a start last night and straight away found one of Mr Puzzles classic tools, a pokey rod. Pretty soon I had a few tools and felt I was making good progress. I cant really say much as it would constitute a spoiler but I will say that so far she is a tough cookie. I would say so far she is trickier than the Opening Bats first 2 thirds (mainly because its difficult to know what you are trying to do!)
Really happy with both so far, cant wait to get back to cracking them later

Re: Mr Puzzle 20th Anniversary Puzzles
She is not defeated yet (though I feel I am at the final stage). I have not had a chance to play with her for a couple of weeks, maybe later this week though....
